The history of the estate

The Collines du Query Blanc estate is located in the hamlet of Lafargue, which means "the forge" in Occitan. In the past, about sixty people lived in this place, spread over several houses. The bread oven and the numerous wells bear witness to the abundance of life at the time.

The estate dates back to the 19th century and is divided into three buildings in a typical regional configuration.

The main house of the past (gîte "La Forge") is on three floors with its bolet: covered outside porch. Traditionally, the living quarters were on the first floor and the ground floor was dedicated to the cellar.

This Quercinois house was completed with a stable (small gîte), a barn (main house today) whose roof slopes are characteristic of the region.

The architectural ensemble includes a magnificent dovecote.
